"May you walk with God this summer in whatever you do and wherever you go…walking with honesty, courage and love with respect…..and may you talk to God this summer in every situation, praying words of praise and thanks...may you walk and talk with God every day. Amen."

Summer is in full swing! And our Dominican Associates of Peace spend summer days and evenings involved with family, parish, and community activities. Hopefully, there will also be leisure times and moments throughout these days to cherish the goodness and joy we each receive, and to walk and talk with our God.

Many of our Associates responding to God's call will be traveling to the July Congregational Assembly, planning August Recommitment Ceremonies, and preparing fall programs for both new Candidates and current Associates. Thus, summer is a time to appreciate the richness and fullness of our Dominican lives of prayer, study, community, and ministry. May we all walk and talk with God every day in praise and thanksgiving for our countless blessings.

Hi, Conni,Tomorrow, July 3rd, my husband, Donald, is having his back operation. Prayers for a successful surgery and uneventful recuperation are requested.  I'm doing really well. Just had a toe nail removed but it wasn't a bad experience at all.   Won't be at the assembly but I'll be with you all in spirit.  Looking forward to the fall and beyond.  Peace,Susan

Summer activities will help the community to be aware of what was going on. It has something to do with giving small time. - J. Kale Flagg
