What I am able to say at this time in my life is that I have a profound commitment to the common good of the community. Yes, I am living “singly” and have been for some years after living 25 years under the same roof with many other sisters. The profound commitment, connection and love I have for my Dominican sisters is not diminished because I am living alone. What I have come to know is that I am never alone but always connected with my sisters in the local area; with the people of the local parish; with homeless and poor folks I volunteer with each week; with friends in other settings. All of these experiences of being together enrich my life and for this I am so grateful. What is most important to me these days is deepening my connection with the Source of my life and more and more I am aware of oneness - with each other, with nature, with God. I am blessed, chosen and grateful to be involved in the journey and bonding process that God has initiated!
